ICONS: The Lesbian and Gay History of the World, Vol. 1 is a solo musical comedy created and performed by solo theatre artist Jade Esteban Estrada. In this multidisciplinary performance piece, Estrada portrays Sappho, Michelangelo, Oscar Wilde, Gertrude Stein, Sylvia Rivera and Ellen Degeneres. The production made its world premiere at the Columbus National Gay and Lesbian Theatre Festival in September 2002 in Columbus, Ohio.
