Queen Christina of Sweden:

Christina! Christiana, we welcome you with honor!

Christina, Christina welcome to the throne!

My dear fellow countrymen this is unprecedented path.

I officially would like to proc--

I'm sorry I'm a little bit nervous....

But I wanted to say thank you,

For this journey you’ve bestowed upon me.

I'd like to say thank you, Sweden…

For this journey you’ve bestowed upon me.

My father was great military man

He taught me to be brave and strong.

My mother's not well but does all she can

To teach her child right from wrong

And though I’m scared

Though I’ve very scared

I will face the thrown.

But, I wanted to say thank you

For this journey you’ve bestowed upon me.

Sweden, oh, my Sweden oh, our hearts are no longer silent

I’ve come of age in a time of wrath, we are full of violence

Our enemies around the world wait to hear my philosophy

Our country is exhausted and that’s our reality

Sweden, oh my Sweden oh our hearts will never be quiet again.

A higher plane of civilization

I support the arts, it’s cultivation

Freedom for my people and prosperity!

Sweden, unearth me now!

I’ll take your passion and your war

And bring God back home!

Like a dove after the storm

The future lies in Rome!

I am your queen, Christina!

Thirty years of war have come to pass

The blood of your children have fallen on my hands

I must ask you to stand behind me

Higher learning to the masses

Common bonds between classes

Lutherans and Catholics will hold hands under God

I see thirty years of war have come to pass, friends, it’s time for peace again

Take this as a proclamation to every man across the nation

My chancellor can keep his philosophy

Sweden, unearth me now!

I’ll take your passion and your war

And bring God back home!

Like a dove after the storm

The future lies in Rome!

I am your queen, Christina!

I am your queen, Christina!

I now proclaim peace in Westphalia!

  Christina!

All these dream pictures of fatherland, honor and pride which have inspired noble men to perform great deeds are in truth, no more than daydreams. I hereby declare this war over!

Sweden, unearth me, now!

Education belongs to the people today we celebrate the founding of the first Swedish newspaper!

   Christina!

Watch my dress...

  Sweden, unearth me now!

I’ll take your passion and your war

And bring God back home!

Like a dove after the storm

The future lies in Rome!

I am your queen, Christina!

I am your queen, Christina!

God bless Sweden forever!
