TESTIMONIALS:

"Pico de Gallo is really great! It is like Jade said - the show is a mirror that reflects the different aspects of the Latino culture and what we see in society, on TV, in the news.

Tortilla Heaven is great.  The characters are fun and lovable and for those of us who've lived in the U.S. for multiple generations, it puts us in their shoes and allows us to see things from their perspectives.  The show exposes several prejudices in a humorous way that challenges you without confronting you directly.

Pico de Gallo goes a step beyond.  The characters portray many of the different faces of the Latino world.  It is fantastic because it is full of humor but the issues the characters present are real and nothing is smoothed over.  You laugh and at the same time you are challenged to think about what the character is actually saying and what it means.  I love the way comedy is used to reflect the truth and how the show is entertaining, educational, and provoking all at the same time.

Jade does an awesome job of bringing the characters to life.  I love how by changing his voice, body language, and mannerisms he becomes a completely different person.  It is amazing and even if he wore the same costume the whole show each character would still be a unique individual.

It was a privilege to work with him.  I had fun and he taught me a lot, in the way he handled the technical difficulties and didn't let them upset him or affect the show, by his kindness to everyone and the genuine interest he takes in the people he meets for a short period of time and will probably never see again."
