Jade
Esteban Estrada brings his charming one-man
show to elementary school children around
the country with JUAN BOBO and FRIENDS, a
collection of five Latin American folktales
including "Blancaflor," "Catalina
the Fox," "Martina Martinez and Perez
the Mouse" and others. Running time is
45 minutes with no intermission. This is an
interactive, bilingual show with Spanish and
English dialogue.
Juan Bobo and Friends will debut in the fall
of 2008.

comedy is used to reflect the truth
and how the show is entertaining,
educational, and provoking all at
the same time.
Jade does
an awesome job of bringing the
characters to life. I love how by
changing his voice, body language,
and mannerisms he becomes a
completely different person. It is
amazing and even if he wore the same
costume the whole show each
character would still be a unique
individual.
It was a
privilege to work with him. I had
fun and he taught me a lot, in the
way he handled the technical
difficulties and didn't let them
upset him or affect the show, by his
kindness to everyone and the genuine
interest he takes in the people he
meets for a short period of time and
will probably never see again."
